  15. This will have to go for a separate vote. I don't think redrawing requires
  16. a shortcut per app. The OS should supply this feature. Mag!X does.

  18. I agree with this, but then again, I always thought that Select-All 
  19. didn't need a short-cut either.  I'm fighting to have Select-All moved to 
  20. something else to make sure that people DON'T use Ctrl-A.  I figure that 
  21. not much else is harmless enough to be assigned to Ctrl-A, so you might 
  22. as well use Ctrl-A for something totally harmless like Redraw.

  28. This is a problem. I recommend we discuss this in the future. Programs
  29. like CoNnect, Papyrus and Edith could serve as a model.

  31. The point is that it needs to be easy for people to interface with... not 
  32. much more than a structure and a little more to pass to functions... 
  33. open, close, handle_event, and a structure that contains things that GEM 
  34. doesn't handle like underlining.  Whatever... we'll cover that later, but 
  35. people need to think hard about what they do.

  37. Oh, and people need to make the code READABLE!  I've seen people write C
  38. code that was so far removed from the normal formatting that I simply
  39. could not read it.  And a comment for every line is nothing but
  40. distracting, while no comments can actually be worse.  But we'll cover
  41. this later.
